Feel more.
You can’t think your way to liberation. Get into the body. Slow down. Rest. Listen. Stay in the DreamSpace — The Nap Ministry.
“Rest is not a luxury — it’s how we recover, repair, and reset.”
There’s a difference between being tired and being depleted. Unfortunately, many of us don’t realize how deeply drained we are until we stop moving, and it all hits.
Many of us don’t even know we’re running on overdrive. We wake up and immediately look at our phones — the matrix: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, emails — before we’ve had tea or breakfast, overstimulating our nervous systems before we’re fully present. But this is a signal: your body asks for rest, recalibration, or sometimes even change.
Common signs of unacknowledged overwhelm or fatigue:
- You wake up tired even after a full night’s sleep.
- Caffeine no longer works — it just makes you feel wired and anxious.
- You get sick more often or take longer to recover.
- You feel emotionally numb or reactive without an apparent reason.
- Your to-do list never seems to get taken care of.
What to Try This Week:
Schedule rest like a meeting.
Try one of these practices at least once a day this week:
- Go for a 10–20 minute walk around your neighborhood or property.
- Notice the world around you: sit outside with a hot beverage and a paper book.
- Meditate, even for a few minutes.
- Shower before getting on electronics, and feel the water on your skin.
- Power down early. Set a “digital sunset” an hour before bed to help your body wind down naturally.
- Nap without guilt. A 10–20 minute nap can boost memory, focus, and mood.
Rest isn’t laziness — it’s survival.
The more you honor your limits, the more capacity you’ll have in the long run.
